Description
PROLENE™ Monofilament Suture, Undyed, Size 6-0, 18", with Single-Armed P-1 Needle, is a nonabsorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene. It is a monofilament suture that offers smooth passage through tissue with minimal drag and a low incidence of tissue reaction.
The suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and ligation. It is especially suitable for procedures requiring permanent tensile strength, such as cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological surgeries.
